Pat McAfee might be one of WWEs most popular commentators, but he has a ton of haters who simply cannot stand him. Unfortunately, McAfee has now revealed that a person sent some disturbing messages to him, where the person wished death on McAfee and his daughter.

Pat McAfee took to his Instagram story and uploaded a screenshot of the persons messages. Initially, the messages were insults, calling McAfee rude names and making fun of him. Then, the threats got worse when the person demanded a fight, saying he would show up anywhere McAfee wanted.

Things became even more unsettling when the sender used a slur and reacted to a photo of McAfees daughter, hoping that she would die. In response to one of McAfees social media posts, the person also warned that McAfee should prepare to die as well, accusing McAfee of disrespecting free speech.

Pat McAfee talked about the situation in a casual way, letting his followers know what had been sent to him. He mentioned that it was just another day, with a random person wishing harm on him and his daughter, and ended by wishing everyone a good day.

This likely stems from the fact that Pat McAfee called Canada a terrible country after fans booed the U.S. National Anthem at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. McAfee would later address the situation and explain the reason behind his words.

While Pat McAfee gets criticized often, threatening him and his family is simply unacceptable, and we hope McAfee will no longer have to deal with such hatred in the future.

What do you think about the threats Pat McAfee received? Do you believe social media platforms should do more to combat harassment, or is this just part of being in the public eye? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
