Things got heated on the March 6, 2025, episode of TNA iMPACT as Oba Femi and Moose came face-to-face just days before their massive showdown at WWE NXT Roadblock.
Oba took the mic and addressed the crowd, saying hes heard all about Moose and his dominance. He points out Moose has beaten some of the biggest names, but never has he put down Femi. The NXT Champion didnt hold back, promising that he would walk out of Madison Square Garden still holding his title.
Moose wasnt about to let that slide. He fired back with a bold statement of his own and mentioned that in a few days at MSG, hes going to dethrone The Ruler and become the face of NXT, and there isnt a damn thing he can do about it.
Oba wasnt interested in just talking. He told Moose to prove he was the franchise by getting security out of the ring. Thats when things broke down. Security rushed Femi, but he wasnt having it. The NXT Champion started knocking them down one by one, clearing the ringuntil The System stormed in.
The numbers game was too much, and Moose made sure to take full advantage. Before the show went off the air, he left Oba laid out in the ring and stood tall, holding both the WWE NXT Championship and the TNA X-Division Championship over his head.
