The quarter-finals of the Adobe Womens FA Cup take place this weekend and Manchester City host Aston Villa at the Joie Stadium.
Gareth Taylors side have experienced a dip in form this season as they sit fourth in the WSL standings and 12 points behind leaders Chelsea. In midweek, they were held to a 1-1 draw against West Ham after an opening goal from Khadija Shaw.
However, they are still in contention for the League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League and will hope to put their league form aside this weekend. Villa are struggling at the wrong end of the WSL table and are just four points clear of relegation at this stage.

Man City team news
City are without long-term absentees Lauren Hemp and Alex Greenwood, who are recovering from knee injuries. Taylor confirmed in his pre-match press conference they are set to welcome Vivianne Miedema and Shaw back into the starting lineup.
However, the manager did add that his fixture comes too soon for Japan international Aoba Fujino. Laura Blindkilde Brown is back in training, but whether she is fit to start remains to be seen.
January signing Rebecca Knaak is also out due to injury, having confirmed on social media earlier this month she is set for a spell on the sidelines.

Its been a turbulent few weeks for Villa as winger Adriana Leon departed the club to join San Diego Wave in the NWSL. Not only that, following last weeks defeat to Everton in the WSL, Natalia Arroyo has some injury concerns.
Early in the second half at Villa Park, goalkeeper Sabrina D'Angelo took a nasty blow and had to be substituted for Katelin Talbert, who made her debut for the club. Villa are yet to confirm the extent of D'Angelo's injury, or whether she will be available to face City this weekend.

This is a tough one to predict given City are not in the best form right now. The midweek result against West Ham proves they have vulnerabilities that Villa will no doubt be desperate to exploit.
That being said, Taylors side boast so much experience at the highest level and will back themselves to get over the line one way or another. Had this match been against tougher opposition, it could have been a tricky tie for City, but Villa's place in the WSL - second from bottom - indicates they are also struggling for form.
