Last Thursday in Abu Dhabi, an agreement was signed between the Emirates PGA (represented by President Kieren Pratt) and the PGA de Colombia (represented by Vice-President Gonzalo Londono).
The subject of the agreement is the development of a structural cooperation that allows professionals from the two associations to access competitive paths that facilitate the growth of their careers.
Thus, the top players of the 2024 ranking of the PGA de Colombia will receive an invitation to participate in the first seasonal stage of the Clutch Pro Tour, which will be held from 18 to 21 March at the Al Ain Golf Club.

The Clutch Pro Tour, after the accreditation for OWGR purposes, has become the main feeder of the HotelPlanner Tour (formerly Challenge Tour, Editor's note), and therefore we are talking about an important opportunity for young Colombian pros.

Likewise, the agreement establishes that the best players in the 2025 ranking of the United Arab Emirates will be invited to take part in the National Professional Championship organized by the PGA of Colombia.
This symbolic bridge that will unite professionals from two different hemispheres is a clear indication of the desire of the less titled PGAs to guarantee their members the prospect of a growing professional future.
The Rules of Golf are a set of rules and standard procedures by which the sport of golf should be played. In Italy, the Federgolf is responsible for supervising competitions by enforcing the rules issued by the R & A, checking that these rules are observed by the Clubs, Associations and their members and managing the resulting sporting justice, protecting their interests abroad.
