AEW is bringing a little extra star power to Revolution this year, and no, were not talking about the wrestlers. The company just announced that The Righteous Gemstones stars Adam Devine and Tony Cavalero will be making an appearance at the pay-per-view.
In a post on social media, AEW hyped up the crossover, writing: Theyre misbehavin and not messin around. Adam Devine and Tony Cavalero are coming to #AEWRevolution.
For those unfamiliar, The Righteous Gemstones is HBOs hit comedy series about a dysfunctional family of televangelists, with Devine and Cavalero playing two of the most over-the-top characters. Given AEWs track record of embracing wild entertainment, its safe to say these two arent just here for a handshake and a wave.
With AEW Revolution already stacked with title matches and heated rivalries, this surprise addition only adds another layer of unpredictability to the night. Will Devine and Cavalero get involved in the action? Could we see them mix it up in the ring, or are they just here to cause some chaos?
