AEW Revolution 2025 went down at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. There were plenty of titles on the line, including the AEW Womens World Title in a heated storyline.
AEW Revolution 2025 included a full lineup of matches, featuring a Hollywood Ending Match for the AEW Womens World Championship. The match saw Toni Storm defend the title against Mariah May.
This match was the sixth of the pay-per-view, and it went on after the Hurt Syndicate dominated over the Outrunners. Anything was on the table during the AEW Womens World Title match, as the Hollywood Ending Match promised a result.
This match got started during the entrances, as Mariah May rushed Toni Storm on the stage. Jim Ross was also around for this match to commentate, which added even more to the contest.
Mariah May got a taser out at one point, but Luther grabbed it. Then she dropkicked him through a table for good measure. This was followed by Toni nailing a skyhigh on Mariah through a table off the entrance ramp, but she only scored a two count.
Toni Storm was eventually busted open, and she bled a lot during the remainder of this match. That being said, she wasnt going to give up so easily. Then Mariah May and Toni Storm both wrapped their fists with tape and covered it in broken glass, which they had in metal buckets at the ringposts. Then Toni Storm poured the rest of the glass in the center of the ring for good measure. Mariah May took a glass-fist shot to the head, and she rolled out of the ring to bleed a bit. This was a brutal spot, and it didnt end as Toni continued to cut May. Then Mariah smashed a champaign bottle between Storms legs.
In the end, Toni Storm was able to retain her title after a hard-fought match. The final pinfall went down at the entrance ramp as the two battled around the Crypto.com Arena.
