AEW Revolution 2025 went down at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. Tony Khan had a packed card ready for fans, and the night closed out with Jon Moxley putting the AEW World Title on the line against Adam Copeland.

In recent memory, WWE Hall of Famer Edge has just been going as Cope. That name change came with a shot at the top of the AEW roster, as the Rated R Superstar entered Revolution, ready to take the former Dean Ambrose on.

The main event of the night came after Will Ospreay nearly murdered Kyle Fletcher in a cage match, and one of the stars of Queen of the Ring said that one thing shes learned about wrestling is yall know whos gonna win before anyone else does. That didnt receive the best reaction backstage.

Fans had a great time singing Copes theme song as he made his way to the ring. Jon Moxley came out second, and he clutched that briefcase with the AEW World Title in it as he took his time.

With the AEW World Title on the line, and Christian Cage with his guaranteed title match, anything was on the table as the company closed out their big night in LA. Mox and Cope brought it with smash mouth offense and very stiff shots, as Jim Ross joined the commentary team for the main event.

They continued for a while, and then Cope nailed a spear through the ropes on Moxley, which sent them both falling to the outside. Moxley answered back by sending Copeland into the steel ring steps.

The referee was then taken out, and that left no official to regulate the action in the ring. Moxley got two chairs, and he set up a conchairto, but Cope countered it as he sent a chair into Moxs face. At that point, Wheeler Yuta came out to the ring.

As Mox and Cope got to their feet, Yuta nailed him with a Psycho Knee. Yuta went to get the briefcase, and then Jay White ran to the ring as he stopped Wheeler. Then he tried to hit Mox with the briefcase, but Mox ducked and Cope took a shot to the face. Cope was able to kick out at two as the referee came to.

Suddenly, Cope nailed Mox with a spear for a very close two count. That was followed by two more spears, but Christian Cage pulled the referee out of the ring as he counted to three. Then he cashed in his guaranteed contract and whacked Cope in the head with the briefcase. This was now a three-way match, and Christian hit a spear on Cope for a two count. Then he hit a Killswitch on Cope, but Mox broke up the pin. Mox latched a bulldog headlock on Christian, and then the referee called for the bell. Jon Moxley left LA as World Champion, leaving Christian and Cope laid out in the ring.

AEW loves bringing big events to fans, and Revolution 2025 was certainly a long night for pro wrestling fans. The ending was worth sticking around for, so we will have to see what Tony Khan has planned next.
