While speaking on the post-AEW Revolution show, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about Christian Cages failed cash-in at AEW Revolution. Sapp revealed that Christian Cage was pitched the angle earlier in the week and that AEW simply wanted to finish up the contract storyline once and for all, saying, From what I was told, Christian was pitched this story earlier this week, and AEW just wanted to get this damn contract out there and over with.

The main event of AEW Revolution was going well for many fans as Adam Copeland and Jon Moxley were putting on a solid match. Things became more interesting after Christian Cage pulled the referee out of the ring to prevent a three count, and Cage cashed in his contract.

The match ended quickly for Christian Cage, who lasted less than a minute in the final moments. Jon Moxley locked in the bulldog choke on Cage, causing him to pass out. This allowed Moxley to successfully retain his title, much to the disappointment of many fans.

Many fans felt Christian Cage should have won the AEW World Championship, but that just didnt happen. Therefore, we will have to wait and see what the company has planned for Cage in the coming weeks, as fans just want Cage to have a proper run again.
