AEW Revolution had its fair share of in-ring chaos, but apparently, things got just as wild in the crowd.
According to Fightful Select, there was a fight in the crowd during Mercedes Mon vs. Momo Watanabe for the TBS Championship.
Denise Hollywood Salcedo was in the building and took to Twitter to confirm the drama. Already two fans kicked out. I missed what happened to cause the drama, I think they are drunk. These things always happen lol. Along with her tweet, she posted footage of security escorting the rowdy fans out, and based on the timing, it appears to have all gone down during the same match.
With AEW known for its passionate crowds, things can get out of hand quickly, but getting tossed from the building during one of the biggest matches of the night? Thats next-level.
Meanwhile, inside the ring, the match itself was brutal. Mercedes walked away with the win, but both women took serious damage. Watanabe left on crutches after reportedly injuring her ankle, and Mercedes is said to be dealing with a bruised larynx.
AEW Revolution definitely lived up to its name, but now the real question iswhat the hell went down in that crowd? Were these fans just getting too rowdy, or was there something more to it? Sound off in the comments!
