The WWE Universe is still talking about Travis Scotts shocking involvement at Elimination Chamber, where he stood ringside as John Cena turned heel and aligned with The Rock. But it wasnt just Cenas betrayal that stole the showit was Scotts stiff slap to Cody Rhodes that left a visible bruise and had everyone talking.
Now, Seth Rollins is weighing in, and lets just say, hes not exactly impressed with Scotts wrestling skills.
I have mercy on Travis Scott. That is not a man that needs to be in a wrestling ring with these giant humans, Rollins said while appearing on WFAN.
No offense to him, but hes a cruiserweight, brother. He can wrestle Rey Mysterio, maybe. He doesnt know what hes doing in there. He just whacked him in the side of the head, gave him a big ol bruise, busted him openjust awful.
Rollins also made it clear that Scott is lucky Cody hasnt gotten his hands on him yet.
If Cody gets his hands on him, its done and dusted. Cody isnt like Braun Strowman or Andre The Giant, hes not a massive guy, but he dwarfs Travis Scott. If he can get through Travis team of people, its game over for him.
While Cody hasnt directly responded to Scotts stiff shot, Rollins hinted that The American Nightmare isnt taking it lightly.
Cody is a very nice guy, I wont speak on his behalf, but he has an undercurrent of frustration in there, especially when he gets taken advantage of in a situation like that, absolutely.
Scott might have gotten his shot in at Elimination Chamber, but if Cody Rhodes ever gets the chance to return the favor, things could get ugly fast. Rollins made it clearScott isnt built for the wrestling world, and if he steps out of line again, Cody wont hesitate to remind him where he stands.
