Cody Rhodes Rips John Cena on WWE Raw: One Mans Fantasy and Delusion
Cody Rhodes isnt letting up on John Cena, and he made that clear during his latest promo during the Match 10 episode of WWE Raw.
Kicking off the second hour of the show, Rhodes wasted no time calling out Cena, first informing the crowd that Cena wasnt in the buildinga fact that drew instant heat from the audience.
Rhodes then took aim at Cenas decision to align with The Rock, but rather than being outright furious, he made it clear that his issue isnt with Cenas choicebut rather, his actions since.
I dont begrudge Cena for siding with The Rock, Rhodes said. What I take issue with are his positive messages on social medialike a clueless child who needs to be yelled at by a teacher.
He didnt stop there. Rhodes then tore into Cenas aspirations of winning a record-breaking seventeenth world title, calling it nothing more than one mans fantasy and delusion.
Before wrapping up, Rhodes made sure to remind everyoneincluding Cena himselfof the new reality in WWE: I am now the captain of WWE.
The war of words between Rhodes and Cena is only heating up, and with the two set to come face-to-face on the March 17 episode of WWE Raw, things could get even more personal.
