Stefanos Tsitsipas thinks it's pretty clear what he wanted to say with his viral got myself a boat post as the Greek acknowledged that he wasn't doing well for months and winning a title was exactly what the doctor ordered.

On March 1st, the two-time Grand Slam finalist beat Felix Auger-Aliassime in the Dubai final for his first trophy since last year's Monte Carlo Masters.
During that 11-month gap between those two triumphs, Tsitsipas struggled a lot and even started picking up early exits in Masters and Grand Slam events. That led to his critics calling him "washed" and "done."
"But after returning to the winner's column at the ATP 500 tournament in Dubai, the Greek posted a photo of him posing with the trophy and captioned the post: "They said my game was sinking so I got myself a boat."
Tsitsipas asked to address his viral post
After ousting Matteo Berrettini 6-3 6-3 to reach the Indian Wells Masters round-of-16, the world No. 9 was asked if he could elaborate on his boat post and reveal if he felt pressured to do something and prove he could still win.

"I think it was obvious. Doesn't take much to understand that (smiling). I wasn't doing great lately, and the last few months weren't amazing for me. I didn't have any big results or victories that I could say that I'm headed towards a good direction with my game. So I feel like that caption sort of was a summary of the last few months," Tsitsipas explained.
In his presser, the former world No. 3 also said that for quite some time he felt good in practice but the results simply weren't coming until Dubai.
Now, Tsitsipas is having a promising run in Indian Wells and he will have a chance to extend his winning streak to eight matches if he beats Holger Rune in the round-of-16.
