Becky Lynch is back with WWE, but fans wondering when shell return to TV might have to wait a little longer. According to Wrestling Informers Billi Bhatti, the delay isnt just about creative plansits tied to Lynch and Seth Rollins signing with a new agency.
Lynch agreed to re-sign with WWE after becoming a free agent when her contract expired in late 2024. While the deal is locked in, Bhatti reported that final details were held up because Lynch and Rollins changed representation, wanting the same agent to handle both of their deals.
There was a delay in the contract negotiations because they decided to go with a different agent, and that new agent wanted to come in and tie up loose ends, Bhatti explained. Specific things they wanted were added to their contracts, and in Beckys case, it wasnt about getting permission to take other opportunities without WWE necessarily getting a cut. She also wanted to be allowed to use the Becky Lynch name without WWE fully owning it. However, she wanted more flexibility when it came to approval for outside projects.
Lynch and Rollins recently signed with Adventure Media for management, aligning themselves with a powerhouse agency representing top filmmakers and showrunners. This move gives them more control over their careers outside of WWE, which was reportedly a key factor in their negotiations.
Bhatti added that WWE and the couple are working out the final details. These tiny little odds and ends are being finalized by the new agent they both wanted to use. They wanted to be with the same agent, they want their contracts to begin at the same time, and they want their contracts to be the same length. My belief is theyre going to get pretty much the same money.
With all of this being sorted behind the scenes, Lynchs return to WWE programming is still up in the air. While shes been spotted at Netflix-related events, shes made it clear she was just there to support the company, not as part of a storyline.
Lynchs decision to re-sign means The Man is far from finished in WWE, but will this new deal impact her long-term future with the company? Let us know what you think in the comments!
