New Jack is making his way into WWE 2K25, and the biggest surprise isnt just that hes inits who made it happen. WWE President Nick Khan personally pushed for the ECW legend to be included as downloadable content, leaving even the games developers stunned.
WWE 2K producer Bryan Williams spoke with PWInsider and admitted that adding New Jack wasnt something he ever expected.
The decision came completely out of left field for the team behind the game.
New Jack was one of the most unforgettable figures in Extreme Championship Wrestling, known for his chaotic, weapon-filled matches. He worked for ECW from 1995 until the companys closure in 2001. Real name Jerome Young, he passed away in 2021 at the age of 58.
The WWE 2K25 Fearless Pack DLC, set for release in July, will feature New Jack alongside other big names, including Jordynne Grace, Penta, and Bull Nakano. The full game drops on March 14 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
New Jacks inclusion is sure to bring back memories for longtime ECW fans, but does he belong in a WWE game? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
