Wardlow is out, and theres still no clear answer why. The former AEW TNT Champion was originally scheduled to appear at Pandemonium Pro Wrestlings The House Always Wins event on April 17, but the promotion has now confirmed hes been pulled from the card.
In a statement posted on March 10, Pandemonium Pro Wrestling cited circumstances outside of our control as the reason for Wardlows removal. As a result, former WWE star Duke Hudsonnow simply going by Dukehas taken his spot in a six-man tag match.
The reason behind Wardlows withdrawal remains unknown, but Fightful Selects Sean Ross Sapp reported that Wardlow was backstage at AEW Revolution. While he wasnt expected to be used, hes been recovering from an injury and spending time in Los Angeles working on other projects. However, theres no official word on whether hes been cleared to wrestle.
Wardlow has been noticeably absent from AEW programming for months, leading to speculation about his future. While AEW hasnt made any announcements regarding his status, his name continues to pop up in discussions about potential returns and creative plans.
With Wardlow off the Pandemonium card, what does this mean for his future? Is he on the verge of an AEW comeback, or is there more to the story? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
