Independent wrestler Charlie Tiger, real name Charles Avedis Hutton, is now facing a string of legal issues across multiple states after being accused of storming a Pennsylvania Sheetz wielding a machete, charging at bystanders, and stabbing a work van before fleeing in a Subaru. This latest incident comes just weeks after he was arrested for making terroristic threats at an IRS facility in New Jersey.

According to Lower Allen Township Police, Hutton was spotted at the Sheetz at 1508 Cedar Cliff Drive in Camp Hill, PA, on March 3, waving a massive blade and screaming in the parking lot. Witnesses reported that he stripped off his clothes, charged at people, and then stabbed a van, causing over $2,000 in damages before bolting from the scene in a red Subaru.

Inside the store, terrified customers looked on as a good Samaritan bravely stepped in and disarmed Hutton, taking the weapon before he fled. When officers arrived, they found the machete dumped on a trash can outside. Using witness statements, surveillance footage, and Huttons drivers license, authorities confirmed his identity and issued a summons for his arrest.

This isnt the first time Hutton has been in trouble with the law. On February 10, he was arrested after threatening employees at an IRS facility in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, causing a full building evacuation. Police responded to the Colwick Office Park around 2:20 PM after reports of a suspicious man wearing a mask and carrying a backpack. Given the potential risk, authorities evacuated the three-story building before conducting a full search.

Hutton was detained without incident, and a police search determined that he was unarmed. Bomb-sniffing dogs were brought in to clear the scene before employees were allowed to return. However, court records show that this was not Huttons first encounter with the IRS facility.

According to a criminal complaint, he had already been on authorities radar due to a February 4 incident at the same location. During a verbal dispute with an employee, Hutton allegedly shouted Kill the IRS in a threatening manner. Then, on February 10, he escalated the situation, picking up a phone inside the facility and yelling Kill the IRS again, prompting his arrest on charges of:

  • Terroristic threats
  • Harassment

After being jailed in Camden County, Hutton was released on February 11. However, less than a month later, he was reportedly back at it with the machete-wielding incident in Pennsylvania.

Adding to the bizarre nature of his situation, police also shared a wild photo of Hutton posing with a red Subaru, holding a fan of cash while a large knife is clenched between his teeth. Behind him, the cars doors are flung open, liquor bottles are scattered on the hood, and a stuffed tiger sits on the roof as he sports a disheveled blazer, gold chains, and a manic expression.

Now, Hutton is facing new charges in Pennsylvania, including:

  • Simple Assault by Physical Menace
  • Disorderly Conduct
  • Harassment
  • Criminal Mischief Deception or Threat

A summons has been issued for his arrest, and he is set for a preliminary hearing on April 10, 2025, at 10:45 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Christopher Delozier.

Hutton, known as Charlie Tiger in the wrestling world, has been competing on the independent scene for eight years, appearing for IWA Mid South, CZW, ECWA, Rockstar Pro, and MCW.
