Paul McGinley, a famous Irish golfer, often shares his opinion regarding the current situation on the golf scene, giving his predictions regarding the future of this sport. Speaking on the Golf Channel, the 58-year-old pointed out that it is important for the PGA Tour to talk to LIV Golf, and to soften the attitudes regarding the Saudi-backed Tour.

One of the proposals is to invite ten LIV Golfers to perform at the Players Championship and five Signature events, but also to give LIV Golfers access to the DP World Tour, in exchange for PIF's investment in PGA Tour Enterprises worth 1.5 billion dollars.
The experienced Irishman firmly believes that reconciliation is the only right step, considering that stubbornness and persistent imposition of one's opinions can only create chaos and stop the progress of golf. The experienced Irishman is aware that the situation is tense, difficult and chaotic, but the only solution to this situation is conversation and compromise.
There's got to be some appeasement, he said, as quoted by Irish Independent.

I know it's not ideal, and maybe it's a starting point to jump off and evolve into something maybe slightly different, but it's a jumping-off point, and the game needs to get to a jumping-off point."
Paul McGinley's views
McGinley explains that it is crucial that the best players come together, because the sport will not be able to progress if everyone is not together, regardless of Jay Monahan pointing out the positive aspects of the current situation.
Also, McGinley emphasizes that, although the situation is good commercially, sports will not succeed as a business unless a product is created that allows the best players to gather at least 10 or 11 times a year.
The 58-year-old sees the possibility of achieving a common interest between LIV and the PGA Tour, where neither league would completely win or lose.

McGinley feels that gathering the best players 11 times a year, through four major championships, the TPC, five Signature events and the LIV Finals, would be a massive thing and acceptable to the public.
