Jeff and Matt Hardy have been a regular part of WWE television since appearing on NXT during the February 25th edition of NXT. The iconic duo also had a solid match against Fraxiom during the March 11th NXT, and now it appears The Hardy Boyz are eyeing NXT Tag Team gold.
At WWE NXT Roadblock 2025, TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hard Boyz successfully defended their titles against WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom in a barnburner of a match, where there were multiple instances Fraxiom had a chance at winning the bout.
While speaking during an interview following the conclusion of NXT, Jeff Hardy praised their opponents, acknowledging their speed and impact in WWE. He described Fraxiom as an incredibly fast team, comparing their energy to rocket boosters. Jeff then wondered whether he and Matt now had a chance at the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships, saying, Their human hearts are more like rocket-boosters. Thats the fastest team Ive ever been in the ring with.
Matt Hardy liked the idea and was excited about the chance to win the NXT titles. He pointed out that the NXT Championships werent on the line this time, but maybe next time, The Hardyz could add them to their collection as the iconic tag team made it clear they were eyeing NXT Tag Team gold.
