AEW Dynamite took over the Save Mart Center on the campus of Fresno State for their March 12 episode. This was the fallout after Revolution 2025, and there was a lot to get to.
MJF lost his match against Hangman Page at Revolution. The Salt of the Earth was not happy when he took the screen on Dynamite this week. They showed a video of him backstage after Revolution, when Page beat him, and he was very upset, as he put his hand through a mirror while calling himself a fraud.
Tony Schiavone said that MJF had a crybaby temper tantrum after his loss to Hangman Page. MJF wore sunglasses and his dark Burberry, and he waited for fans to start chanting before he started. His head aches, and his hand hurts along with his body. Then he addressed the fact that everyone knows that he had the match won on Sunday at Revolution.
MJF was not happy about how things turned out with Hangman Page, as he called him a cowardly cowboy. He said that Pages underhanded tactics, helped him win at Revolution, but MJF admitted that hes not mad about it anymore, because hes smarter than Page and his fans ever will be. MJF promised that things arent over between himself and Page as well.
MVP came out next, and he was alone without his clients. MJF looked confused as he leaned against the turnbuckle. Then MVP made his way to the ring as MJF waited for him. They stood up to each other, and then hugged like friends.
MVP said that hes out there to tell MJF that hes proud of them. Then he spoke about his history with a young 18-year-old Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Although hes proud of him, he knows that MJF isnt proud about how things went down at Revolution. MVP told Maxwell to get angry and he asked him why hes not hurting people. Then MVP said that MJF has lost his edge. He said that they dont fear him, but they do fear the Hurt Syndicate.
That is when MVP extended an offer for MJF to join the Hurt Syndicate. He extended his card to MJF, but the Salt of the Earth turned him down. He does respect MVP, but hes not the same kid he was all those years ago, with all due respect, I dont need your help and I damn sure dont need your advice. He brought up how he was World Champion for 406 straight days, and MVP told him to focus on the word, was.' At that point, MJF took MVPs card.
We will have to see what happens in this storyline. Fans, and MJF, certainly didnt see this development coming.
