With AEW Revolution and a Hollywood Ending behind us, AEW Dynamite resumes tonight as the womens division looks to spark some new contenders toward Dynasty in April.
After a successful and bloody defense of her AEW Womens World Championship, Timeless Toni Storm is here to speak tonight. But first, we take a look back at her cinematic rivalry against Mariah May.
Storm says it is time for a new beginning and is looking for new competitors in the locker room to challenge her. To answer her challenge, Megan Bayne attacks Storm from behind with an impressive undefeated streak in her grasp.
Tonight, Willow Nightingale is back in action against Penelope Ford. Ford picked up a win last week with Bayne in tag action and looks to continue that momentum tonight.
Nightingale outpowers Ford to start off the match, but Ford looks to play nasty as she spills her opponent to the outside.
Ford toughens out Nightingales offense and even attempts to bite through it. After Nightingale gets caught with a crossbody, the two go back and forth for a bit until Ford hits her signature Stunner. However, thats not enough as Nightingale lands the Pounce on Ford for the win.
Despite the win, Ford is a sore loser and attacks Nightingale with a steel chair. Kris Statlander comes to the rescue of her former friend despite Nightingales disapproval. Bayne comes out of the blue striking both former friends and remains standing tall once again.
After a successful defense against Stardoms Momo Watanabe at Revolution, The CEO Mercedes Mon is here with Renee Paquette but can barely talk after getting kicked so hard in the throat by Watanabe.
Mon has asked for Starkz to join her in this interview as they face off next week for the TBS Championship. The CEO likes that Starkz is a student of the game, but ensures her that she is no one to mess with.
