Roxanne Perez has been on a hot streak following her incredibleshowing at the Womens Royal Rumble match back in February, as it was clear her main roster run was confirmed. However, she did compete at WWE NXT Roadblock this week and lost to Jordynne Grace, and now, Perezs future in NXT following her loss has been revealed.
While speaking on Fightfuls The Hump, Sean Ross Sapp was asked if WWE Roadblock was Roxanne Perezs swansong in NXT. Sapp noted that it was Perezs final appearance for NXT and added that he was ready to see Perez feud with Bayley on the main roster, saying, Yes, Im ready for her to go to the main roster and work with Bayley. Absolutely, absolutely.
During the NXT Roadblock event on March 11, Roxanne Perez and Jordynne Grace had a solid bout, which was also a rematch from their NXT Battleground match last year, and it truly lived up to expectations.
The match included several near falls and solid spots, as it could have gone either way. In the end, Jordynne Grace showed off her strength and hit the Juggernaut Driver for the win.
We will have to wait and see how WWE will continue to book Roxanne Perez on the main roster now that her time in NXT is done. With WrestleMania 41 approaching, fans are looking forward to seeing if she and Bayley will face each other at the Showcase of the Immortals.
