Jey Uso shocked the world by winning the 2025 Mens Royal Rumble, securing a WrestleMania 41 title shot against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. But while Royal Rumble winners are promised a main event spot, history has shown that isnt always the case.
For Uso, though, it doesnt matter when his match takes placehes determined to make it unforgettable.
WrestleMania, night one or night two, whichever match Im on. I dont care if Im on last, I dont care if I open it up. Im going to go out there and theyre going to remember my match, so thats all Im focused on, he told Alex McCarthy of Daily Mail.
He knows opportunities like this dont come around often, and hes treating it like his biggest moment yet. This is a once in a lifetime shot. Thats how Im looking at it, because this might not ever, ever come back around in my career.
With WrestleMania 41 fast approaching, WWE has yet to confirm the match order for either night. While the spotlight is firmly on The Rock, Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns, Usos showdown with Gunther could be the dark horse that steals the weekend.
