With this move, Potter broke the rules, having no right to disturb the golfer during the performance. Not long after this, Potter's coach, John Fields, also reacted, believing that the young golfer made a mistake, but that was probably not aware of what was coming out of his mouth at the moment.
"He's got a hole in his heart. He had no idea that what was coming out of his mouth was going to result in this fashion," Fields said.
In addition, he admitted that such moves are "embarrassing" for his university.
