Mohamed Salah has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for February 2025, with Everton boss David Moyes taking home the Manager of the Month award.

Salah enjoyed a phenomenal February, scoring six times and assisting a further four to lead the way for goal involvements, while he also became the first player to both score and assist against the league's reigning champions in one single season.

Surprisingly, it is just the second monthly prize for Salah this season, but the Liverpool star climbs to the top of the all-time record books as he has now been named the Premier League Player of the Month no fewer than seven times. He equals the record held jointly by Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero.

Salah had been alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard on six award wins, but can now set his sights on claiming the all-time record for himself before the end of the season, which could well be his last in England if an agreement over a new contract cannot be struck.

Meanwhile, the Manager of the Month award heads to the other side of Merseyside as Moyes picks up the prize exactly 23 years after he was first named Everton manager back in 2002.

Moyes returned to Goodison Park in January and wasted little time in reversing Everton's fate, sealing draws against both Liverpool and Manchester United in February to help the Toffees climb away from the relegation zone.

It is the 11th time that Moyes has won the award, moving him third in the division's all-time standings. The Scot sits level with Pep Guardiola, behind only Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger.

"For me to join a club and, near enough in my first month, get Manager of the Month is more to do with the commitment of the players, their attitude and the way they've worked," Moyes told club media. "They've been fabulous, the players.

"I'm really thrilled because the names of the people who are up there are unbelievable coaches and managers. I think from my point of view, having the longevity and probably being in the Premier League for a long time, has given me probably more chances to win it.

"But to try to win it with the level of competition that there is in the Premier League there are so many good coaches; there are so many good new young coaches on the field now that it's a big challenge."
