His rise began in late summer 2024, when he reached the semifinals at the US Open, losing to world No.1 Jannik Sinner after a very spectacular battle.
Jack had an injury during the off-season and couldn't work as well as he would have liked, but he still played the 2025 Australian Open, retiring during the match against Carlos Alcaraz.
The Spanish champion will be his opponent in the semifinals of the 'BNP Paribas Open' at Indian Wells and there are all the conditions to witness an incredible show.
The 21-year-old from Murcia has shown that he is almost unstoppable in this tournament, where he has triumphed in the last two editions, and has reached the semifinals without losing a single set.
Francisco Cerundolo put him in trouble in the quarterfinals, but Carlitos has so much confidence in these conditions that he managed to prevail in two sets without too many problems.
