Bill Simmons isnt holding back when it comes to the Jacksonville Jaguars failures in the NFL, and hes pointing the finger directly at Tony Khans commitment to AEW as the reason the team keeps floundering.

Speaking on The Bill Simmons Podcast, Simmons blasted the way the Jaguars are being run, arguing that Tony Khanwho serves as the Senior President of Football and Analytics for the teamhas been too focused on his wrestling empire to properly manage the football side of things.

Simmons doubled down on his criticism, recalling how Khan showed up to last years NFL Draft wearing a neck brace, still selling an AEW storyline attack from The Elite. While some praised the commitment to kayfabe, Simmons saw it as proof that Khan is more invested in pro wrestling than making the Jaguars a winning franchise.

Jacksonville Jaguars Overhaul Coaching Staff After Another Disastrous Season
The Jaguars disastrous 4-13 record last season only added fuel to the fire. Following another playoff-less year, the team fired head coach Doug Pederson on January 6, along with former GM Trent Baalke. Now, Liam Coen steps in as the new head coach, with James Gladstone taking over as GM in hopes of turning things around.

But according to Simmons, as long as Tony Khan is juggling AEW, Fulham, and his football duties, the Jaguars arent going anywhere.

Do you think Tony Khans involvement with AEW is affecting the Jaguars performance? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
