On Thursday, fans noticed that the 2021 US Open winner removed herself from Instagram. Instantly, many assumed that it was very likely linked to the stalking incident that occurred only a few weeks earlier while she competed at the WTA 1000 tournament in Dubai.
After the news was quickly picked on by British media and Raducanu's move drew attention, the 22-year-old returned to Instagram.
Since the Dubai stalking ordeal, the world No. 55 hasn't been that active on Instagram and has issued only one post on her feed.
Raducanu had a terrifying experience and admitted to feeling scared for her safety
As if the Briton's stalking incident in Dubai wasn't scary enough, it only got more terrifying after it was revealed that her stalker followed her across four tournaments in as many weeks.

"This man followed her to Singapore, to Abu Dhabi - where I was with her - again in Doha, now in Dubai and we noticed him. But initially we thought he was a fan, an admirer, because Emma is a really big tennis star with a huge fanbase. Until he got physically close to her, started having contact in the form of selfies, hugging, etc," Roman Kelecic, Raducanu's junior coach who was with her in Dubai, told Croatian outlet Net.
Asked about the incident in Indian Wells, the former world No. 10 shared that she was sitting in a coffee shop in Dubai when she was approached by a man who made a comment which instantly felt her fearing for her safety
"The first one was more like a normal fan approaching you, except for the fact he told me he followed me from everywhere. And then [he] kind of watched me in the coffee shop for a while the second incident was really worrying," Raducanu disclosed.
