Chelsea Green is never afraid to speak her mind, especially when it comes to something she disagrees with. This includes the current backstage drama surrounding Jade Cargill in WWE, and now Green has defended herself against accusations of spreading misinformation over that drama.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jade Cargill had heat in WWE because other women claimed she blamed her opponents for mistakes in the ring and was disrespectful.
One specific incident involved Shayna Baszler, where Cargill pointed to a bruise on her arm and told Baszler she needed to learn how to wrestle properly. Baszler responded by saying if she was really fighting, they would both know.
Later, when Cargill blamed others for match issues again, Baszler confronted her. They got in each others faces, and witnesses said Baszler wasnt backing down. Other wrestlers and management stepped in to separate them. Baszler was then sent to work with production on key spots for her match that night, and nothing else major happened after that.
Regarding the drama surrounding Jade Cargill, a fan took to Twitter and accused Chelsea Green of spreading rumors and misinformation, saying, @ImChelseaGreen stop spreading rumors and misinformation.
In response, Green defended herself and shut down the accusation, telling the fan to back off unless they had firsthand knowledge of the situation. She also called out internet trolls for making judgments without proper information, saying they were part of the problem.
Chelsea Green was also recently accused of running to the dirt sheets after the Jade Cargill backstage drama. With lots of drama backstage, its unclear how Jade Cargills WWE career will go or if the issues will affect her rise. Meanwhile, Chelsea Green is speaking out against online rumors and wont accept false accusations, and thats unlikely to change anytime soon.
