Former World of Stardom Champion Syuri has set her sights on another championship.
Syuri has challenged Mayu Iwatani for the IWGP Womens Championship at the upcoming All Star Grand Queendom event on April 27. Iwatani has held this title since April 2023 where she defeated Merecedes Mone and is now approaching 700 days as champion. She has defended the title nine previous times, and this will be a rematch against Syuri. Syuri challenged Iwatani in a losing effort for the IWGP Womens Title last year.
The challenge was laid out after Syuris Gods Eye faction defeated Iwatanis STARS. This took place at the 2025 Cinderella Tournament Finals event on March 15.
During this event, Sayaka Kurara won the 2025 Cinderella Tournament which gives the winner a wish. She defeated Rina in the finals.
