Fred Ottman, known to wrestling fans as Typhoon and The Shockmaster, just confirmed that hes officially under a WWE Legends contract.

While speaking at a virtual signing for Rich Degregorio, Ottman casually dropped the news while discussing the world of wrestling action figures.

The WWE Legends deal is a way for the company to keep past stars in the fold, often leading to merchandise opportunities, appearances, and special projects. With Ottman still involved in the wrestling world, it makes sense that WWE would want to keep him under their umbrella.

This news comes just as Ottman also revealed that The Natural Disasters (Typhoon & Earthquake) will be inducted into the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame, though WWE has yet to make an official announcement. So far, the only confirmed names for the class include Paul Triple H Levesque, Michelle McCool, and Lex Luger.

What do you think about WWE keeping Fred Ottman under a Legends deal? Should more past stars get these contracts? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
