With Leyla Hirsch officially done with AEW, speculation has been swirling about her next move, but so far, theres no clear direction.
During the March 18 episode of the Fightful Select Podcast, Sean Ross Sapp was asked if he had heard anything about Hirsch potentially heading to NXT now that shes a free agent. His response? Nothing so far.
That doesnt necessarily mean WWE isnt interested, but as of now, theres been no indication that shes on their radar. It should also be noted that just because Hirsch isnt in talks yet doesnt rule out a future opportunity down the line.
After signing with AEW in 2020, Hirsch became a standout thanks to her amateur wrestling background, competing against names like Serena Deeb, Thunder Rosa, and Kris Statlander. After shifting to ROH in 2022, she suffered a devastating knee injury that kept her out for over a year. She returned in 2023, aligning with The Kingdom before dropping the ROH Womens World Television Title to Red Velvet at Final Battle 2024.
With her AEW/ROH chapter now closed, the door is open for Hirsch to explore WWE, NJPW, TNA, or other promotions. The question now iswhere will she land next?
