Jinder Mahal just spilled some behind-the-scenes secrets about working with John Cena, and lets just say Big Match John doesnt always follow the ruleseven Vince McMahons rules.
Speaking with MuscleMan Malcolm, Mahal reflected on his matches with Cena and revealed that the 16-time world champion prefers to call it in the ring instead of mapping things out beforehand. But the real shocker? Cena straight-up ignored a well-known Vince McMahon directive.
For those keeping score, test-of-strength spots have been pretty much nonexistent in WWE for years unless its a monster clash like Bobby Lashley vs. Braun Strowman. Yet, Cena threw it in without hesitation.
So, did Vince McMahon rip into them after the match? Nope. When we came back, obviously, no one said anything. We got the thumbs-up from Vince.
Mahal also made sure to give Cena his flowers, saying it was an honor to wrestle him, especially since Cenas retirement tour is in full swing.
