Travis Scotts shocking slap on Cody Rhodes at Elimination Chamber had fansand even some wrestlersquestioning if the rapper has any business stepping into a WWE ring. But despite the backlash, WWE isnt pulling the plug on his involvement anytime soon.
On Fightful Selects Q&A session, Sean Ross Sapp was asked if theres been any backstage heat over Scotts brutal strike and whether WWE is reconsidering his future role. His response? WWE is doubling down on Scotts participation.
That means Scott isnt going anywhereand if anything, WWE is preparing for him to get even more hands-on in the ring.
Meanwhile, Seth Rollins didnt hold back when discussing Scotts wrestling ability, calling him out for his reckless shot at Rhodes. He doesnt know what hes doing in there, Rollins said on WFAN, adding that if Cody ever gets his hands on Scott, itll be game over.
Rollins also made it clear that Scott is lucky Cody hasnt gotten his hands on him yet.
With WrestleMania 41 just weeks away, all eyes are on whats next for Scott in WWE. Will he step into the ring again, or will Cody find a way to settle the score?
