Aryna Sabalenka funnily warned Mirra Andreeva that she will be out for revenge when they meet next time after falling short in the Indian Wells final.

In early 2025, the world No. 1 ousted the Russian 6-3 6-2 en route to winning the Brisbane International and she also registered a dominant 6-1 6-2 victory in their round-of-16 matchup at the Australian Open.
After the opening set of their Indian Wells final, Sabalenka put herself in a very good position to clinch her third win over Andreeva this year. But this time, the 17-year-old figured out a way to completely turn around the situation on the court and came back to win 2-6 6-4 6-3 - it was her second victory in their six meetings.
While the Belarusian always tries to keep it light after her defeats, it is not a secret that she doesn't like losing the title matches at all.
Ill meet you next time on court... Probably it wont go your way... But whatever," the 2025 Indian Wells runner-up said during the trophy presentation, which prompted laughs from the crowd but also the 17-year-old.

Sabalenka: If I had that team at 17, I'd be a better player now...
Andreeva is coached by 1994 Wimbledon champion Conchita Martinez. And the Spanish tennis legend is widely credited for the Russian's early success and back-to-back WTA 1000 titles in Dubai and the desert.
Following the conclusion of the Indian Wells final, Sabalenka wondered what could have been if she had such a strong team at 17.
Congrats on having a great team. If I had the same team you have at your age, Id probably be a better player by now (laughs). Dont look at my team. I have the best team right now. I mean before! the three-time Grand Slam champion said.
