Ricochet has been all-in on playing the villain since joining AEW, but his latest Twitter exchange just took things up a notch.
After defending AEWs approach to listening to fans, Ricochet found himself in the crosshairs of popular wrestling podcaster JDfromNYand lets just say, JD didnt hold back.
Responding to Ricochets claim that AEW values every fan, JDfromNY blasted him, writing:
Instead of firing back with another long response, Ricochet kept it short and brutal, quoting the tweet and simply writing: Class, like I was talking about earlier. This is an example of dumb sht idiot.*
But JDfromNY wasnt done yet. When a fan chimed in and pointed out that JD himself once admitted Ricochet was the most interesting hes ever been in 7 years, JD doubled down on his stance, dragging AEW even further.
Buddy, he wrestles in front of a dwindling audience every week, and tells me they listen to the fans. If so, where the f** did they all go?*
He ruined all credibility he has to opt to play an online troll and degrade any sense of actual criticism of a product and company he has only been a part of for 6 months.
Love him or hate him, Ricochet isnt backing downand hes making sure everyone knows it. Whether hes dodging toilet paper in the ring or taking shots on Twitter, hes fully embracing his new persona and turning every interaction into a headline. But is he proving a point, or just proving JDfromNY right? Let us know where you stand in the comments!
Is Ricochet justified in clapping back at critics, or is JDfromNY right about AEWs disconnect with fans? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
