Important golf figures reacted to his victory, giving opinions and predictions regarding the future of this golfer. This rhythm gives us the right to hope for his victory at the Masters as well, but well-known personalities of the golf scene like Paul McGinley have interesting views.
The Irish golfer reflected on his performance at the last tournament, with Coltart believing Roy needs to play one more tournament before the Masters.
Rory has not been at his best this week and that is what is so impressive about this victory. Normally he has to be firing on all cylinders to win, it hasnt been the case this week, McGinley said, as reported by The Golfing Gazette.
I think he does [need to play another tournament]. I think three weeks off is far too much for him. He has just about tried and tested every other variation of it in his preparation and I think if he can take his mind off winning a Masters for the first time for as long as possible that would stand him in good stead, Coltart replied.

What can we expect?
It is still unknown whether the Northern Irishman will take a long break or will play in one of the tournaments. However, many believe that everything points to the first scenario. Rory obviously wants to rest, calm his head, and be maximally ready for the biggest challenge of this season.
Speaking about his mindset after the tournament, McIlroy emphasized that he is happy with his good form and successes, believing that things are under control. The Northern Irishman feels that the most important thing is to continue working hard, and not put too much pressure on himself.
