Alberto Del Rio has accomplished quite a lot of things in his career, but allthe controversies surroundinghim have ultimately destroyed his reputation.In fact, he has now been suspended by the Tijuana Wrestling Commission after an incident with fans at an AAA event recently.
According to Rob Viper, Alberto Del Rio has been suspended for 180 days after what took place during an AAA event on Friday. It was noted that after his match at the Auditorio, Del Rio got angry at someone in the crowd.
It was stated that Alberto Del Rio tried to jump over the guardrail but couldnt, so he moved to another spot where he could climb over. Once on the other side, he threw a chair at someone off-camera before security stepped in.
A fan then threw a chair back, hitting Del Rio in the head and making things worse. More objects were thrown, causing a brief fight. Reports state that an elderly woman was hit by a chair during the chaos and had to go to the hospital.
AAA has upcoming shows in Ensenada and Rosarito, but its unclear if Alberto Del Rios suspension will affect those events since they are outside Tijuana. Nonetheless, Del Rio simply cant avoid getting into trouble for one reason or the other and fans feel that might not change anytime soon.
