Santino Marella is hoping for a full-circle moment in WWE history, and hes looking at this weeks SmackDown in Bologna, Italy as the perfect stage for it.
Speaking with Maurizio Merluzzo, Marella revealed that he messaged his daughter, current NXT star Arianna Grace, and told her to push for a main roster debut on March 21s SmackDown in Italy.
Marella, who had a legendary debut in Milan in 2007, where he won the Intercontinental Championship in his first match, knows the impact a moment like this could have on Graces career. While theres no official word on whether WWE has plans to bring her up yet, Marella has been vocal about wanting to team with his daughter for a mixed tag match at WrestleMania someday.
For now, all eyes will be on SmackDown in Italy to see if Arianna Grace steps onto the big stage.
