Marc Mero may have left WWE on not-so-great terms back in 1999, but hes ready to bury the hatchet and work with the company again. The former Intercontinental Champion recently revealed that he wants to sign a Legends dealand hes got big ideas on how WWE can use him.
Speaking on Desert Island Graps, Mero made it clear theres zero bitterness on his end and even pitched WWE to get behind his motivational speaking career.
It would be an honor to work with them and have a Legends contract, Mero said. They have a Be A Star program where they have some of the wrestlers talk at schoolsthats what I do, Im doing 200+ events a year. How cool would it be to have WWE behind it?
Despite his willingness to return, Mero acknowledged that not everyone may be as eager to move on. There are no problems on my end, but I understand that there may be some hard feelings on their end still.
Mero, who also had three runs as WCW World Television Champion, has spent years being outspoken against steroid use in wrestling and dedicating himself to helping kids and young adults make better life choices.
With WWE always looking to expand its Legends roster and community outreach programs, a Marc Mero return could be a perfect fit. But will WWE be willing to give him another shot? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
