Former NXT star Kimber Lee has officially closed the book on her legal case, but it comes with some serious consequences.
After multiple delays in her pre-trial hearings, Lee was found guilty on February 5 by the Highlands County Court in Florida on charges of DUI, resisting an officer with violence, and battery on a law enforcement officer.
Lee entered a nolo contendere pleameaning she accepted the conviction without admitting guilt. While she was sentenced to two years in state prison for the more severe charges, that sentence is suspended as long as she follows strict probation conditions.
Instead, Lee will serve one year of probation for her DUI and two years for the other charges, running concurrently. Her conditions include:
- 75 hours of community service
- Mandatory substance abuse treatment and DUI classes
- Regular drug testing
- Ankle monitor requirement
- 10-day vehicle impoundment
- Drivers license suspension for six months
- Restricted travel outside her local county without approval
The charges stem from a May 11, 2023, arrest where police found Lee driving the wrong way, nearly crashing into a guardrail before a frantic police encounter. Reports indicate she was heavily intoxicated with a blood alcohol level of .140nearly double Floridas legal limit of .08.
The situation escalated when she physically resisted arrest, allegedly striking an officer in the chest and later injuring him during a struggle. Initially facing up to five years in prison for resisting an officer and battery, Lee avoided time behind bars but must now adhere to strict probation rules or risk serving her full sentence.
Kimber Lees future in wrestling remains uncertain as she deals with the legal fallout. Can she make a comeback, or is this the final chapter of her in-ring career? Let us know what you think in the comments!
