Kamille served as Mercedes Mons bodyguard for months but left the role in November after facing mistreatment and abuse from Mon. While she has been absent from AEW television since November, Tony Khan has now confirmed her status with the company.
While speaking to the Battleground podcast, Tony Khan provided an update on Kamilles status and addressed the possibility of a match between her and Megan Bayne. Khan acknowledged that Kamille was last seen when she was attacked backstage, but the identity of her attacker is still unknown.
Khan also mentioned that her absence since the attack has led to tons of questions, and it remains unclear what exactly happened. Khan added that when Kamille eventually returns to AEW to get revenge for the attack, it will be interesting to see who she targets and what led to the incident. A future match between her and Megan Bayne would be one to watch.
This comes after Kamille previously made it clear she was unhappy with howAEW used her character, as she stated that she never got a real chanceto show different sides of herself.
Interestingly enough, AEW had also snubbed Kamille from all sorts of social media posts concerning Queen of the Ring recently, which made fans wonder if her time with AEW was over. However, now that Tony Khan has confirmed Kamille will eventually return to AEW to exact revenge on her attack, its only a matter of time before the highly talented star will make her triumphant comeback and finally get involved in a program again.
