AEWs Eddie Kingston is known for being one of the toughest guys in the business, but even The Mad King isnt invincible. After suffering a broken leg, torn meniscus, and torn ACL during his no-rope last-man-standing match against Gabe Kidd at NJPW Resurgence, Kingston has been on the mend.

The injury happened when his leg struck the barricade during a suplex, leading to him losing the NJPW Strong Openweight Title. To make matters worse, after the match, he was ambushed by The Young Bucks following a heated confrontation with Jack Perry.

Now, in addition to recovering from his injuries, Kingston has been battling stress-induced stomach issues. Speaking with PWInsider.com, Kingston didnt hold back about whats been going on behind the scenes.

Kingston got even more real about how the situation has affected him mentally.

Despite the setbacks, Kingston is expected to be cleared for an in-ring return this summer. With all the built-up frustration, fans can only imagine the fire hell bring once he finally steps back between the ropes.

What do you think Eddie Kingstons return should look like? Should he go after revenge, or set his sights on a new challenge? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
