Indi Hartwell has been rebuilding her career on the independent scene after her WWE release, but could All Elite Wrestling be in her future? While she recently shared the ring with Mercedes Mon at House of Glorys City of Dreamz, theres no confirmation that AEW is looking to sign herat least, not yet.
During a Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about AEWs potential interest in Hartwell after her match with Mon. While fans saw the bout as a major opportunity for Hartwell, Sapp noted that he hasnt heard anything concrete regarding AEW making a move.
The fact that Hartwell vs. Mon was a last-minute booking only adds to the intrigue. Many wrestlers plan major indie matchups well in advance, but in this case, even those involved were reportedly caught off guard. Regardless, Hartwell impressed, going toe-to-toe with the AEW TBS Champion in a match that left many wondering if AEW would come calling.
Hartwell has been working hard since leaving WWE in November 2024, making a name for herself again with standout performances. She previously expressed interest in teaming up with Steph De Lander and has been spotted training with Mon, fueling speculation that bigger opportunities could be on the horizon.
As of now, theres no official word on AEW offering her a contract, but with Mon playing a major role in AEWs womens division, it wouldnt be shocking to see Hartwell appear in Tony Khans company down the line.
