Jerry The King Lawler has been a WWE legend for decades, but when it comes to keeping up with Monday Night Raw, it looks like the Hall of Famer is out of the loopand its not because he isnt interested.
During a conversation with Bill Apter, Lawler admitted that he hasnt been watching Raw lately, simply because he doesnt have Netflix, the streaming giant that now exclusively airs the red brand.
When Apter asked if he still watches WWE, Lawler confirmed that he tries to when he gets the chance. However, when the topic of Raw came up, Lawler seemed momentarily confused before realizing the issue.
I do, yeah, when I get a chance The onewhats the one? Raw has gone to something? Lawler asked. Apter quickly reminded him, Netflix. Thats when Lawler dropped the revelation: Yeah, I dont have that.
Yes, the man who once called some of the most iconic Raw moments alongside Jim Ross doesnt even have access to the show anymore. With Raw moving to Netflix in January, fans have speculated how WWEs longtime audience would adapt to the change. Apparently, even a legend like Lawler hasnt made the switch yet.
Despite this, The King remains a fixture in the wrestling world. He made a special appearance on SmackDown last month, and fans were thrilled to see him back. While he may not be watching Raw every week, Lawler continues to stay connected with the businessjust maybe not on streaming.
