Bill Goldberg might be planning his retirement match for 2025, but theres one problemhes not even cleared to wrestle yet.
The WWE Hall of Famer recently underwent stem cell treatment, and while he believes hell be good to go soon, theres no exact timeline for when hell actually be ready to step back in the ring.
During an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Goldberg was asked if he had a timeframe for his final match. His answer? He has no clue. I dont have any idea, he admitted. I just know that I got stem cells five weeks and six days ago, and Im cleared physically in a very short period of time.
Goldberg first mentioned his plan to undergo stem cell treatment back in December, revealing that his shoulder was the biggest issue holding him back. Now, hes still waiting on the full benefits of the procedure before he can get back to serious training. I havent been able to do much at all preparation-wise. But I think that the positives of the stem cell treatment were such a positive that it was worth me staying out of the gym for the longest period of time I ever have in my entire life and staying away from physical activity, he explained.
For now, his 2025 farewell match is still the plan, but until hes officially cleared, theres no telling when it will happenor if it could face delays.
