Return
The famous golfer is ready to pick up the golf club again and return to his greatest passion. John shared a video clip on Instagram where he is practicing for the upcoming challenges, and the first in the series will be the Hoag Classic. The experienced face of the golf scene went on to say:
"It's good to be back. It was a bit brutal, but the hand is now about 80 percent recovered. So I decided to come here. I love playing in the Hoag Classic. Every year, the guys are great. We'll see what happens."- he said as quoted by Daily Mail.
Speaking about the injury, Daly shared details about the injury:
"The tendons were completely tangled. The doctor doesn't understand how I played last year. But he put it all back together, attached it to the index finger or something. 16 surgeries in four years, I've already lost all my numbers.- he continued.
John Daly on his diagnosis
Daly, recently appeared on the podcast "Like a Farmer," where he spoke candidly about his health struggles. He recalled times when he had serious health issues, including times when he was so sick he was vomiting blood, which eventually led to a diagnosis of bladder cancer.
He also spoke about how his health issues have made it impossible for him to set ambitious golf goals. While this veteran doesn't use his illness as an excuse, he does point out that it's impossible to play at a high level when you're not fully healthy.
