Seth Rollins is stepping outside the ring and into the world of sports media, landing a guest-hosting gig on Good Morning Football from March 24-26.
The WWE Champion and lifelong Chicago Bears fan confirmed the news to Front Office Sports, making it clear that this move is right in his wheelhouse.
Rollins has made appearances on Good Morning Football before, but this marks his first time taking on full hosting duties. His connection with co-host Kyle Brandt, another die-hard Bears and WWE fan, helped open the door for the opportunity.
Beyond Good Morning Football, Rollins has been seriously considering launching a Chicago Bears podcast. And in a surprising twist, WWE is all for it.
With WWE embracing its stars branching out into outside ventures, this could be another major crossover moment between pro wrestling and sports media.
Being a Bears fan hasnt exactly been smooth sailing for Rollins. His frustrations have led to viral momentsincluding his infamous I hate football tweets.
He even recalled a meltdown after a Thanksgiving Day loss to the Detroit Lions:
Still, Rollins remains hopeful about the teams future. Hes 100% sold on Caleb Williams and believes new head coach Ben Johnson is the right guy to turn things around.
With Good Morning Football just around the corner and WWE supporting his sports media ambitions, Rollins could be setting himself up for life after wrestling.
