AEW Dynamite went ahead as planned on March 20, but behind the scenes, the show was a logistical nightmare thanks to the blizzard that slammed Omaha, Nebraska. While every advertised match took place, AEW was forced to scrap multiple segments after some talent couldnt make it to the show.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that the storm forced Tony Khan to make last-minute adjustments, as several non-advertised talents were unable to reach the venue.

The chaos didnt stop AEW talent from pushing through extreme conditions. Many wrestlers had to drive from Kansas City after their flights couldnt land in Omaha. Mercedes Mon reportedly drove from Des Moines, Iowa through the storm, while AEW World Champion Jon Moxley went above and beyonddriving 11 hours just to make it.

Despite making it to the show, Moxley paid the price in his Street Fight against Cope. The AEW World Champion ended up impaled with a spiked bat during the brutal match but still retained his title after interference from The Death Riders and The Patriarchy.

With AEW pushing through one of its most chaotic travel days, the big question now ishow will this impact upcoming shows? And was it worth it for Moxley to endure an 11-hour drive just to take a spiked bat to the body?
