In a recent interview with 'Il Corriere dello Sport', Italian ace Matteo Arnaldi was asked if Fonseca can reach the level of Sinner and Alcaraz in the near future: "Joao is certainly a very young player with considerable talent, there is no doubt about that. He still has a lot of work to do to reach the top positions of the ATP ranking, but he has the right weapons and the ideal mentality to achieve certain goals."
Some insiders speculate that the young Brazilian star will end the current season in the Top 20 of the ATP ranking.
