Lince Dorado is officially back with WWEthis time not just as an in-ring talent, but as a coach shaping the future of NXT.

After more than three years away, the masked star returned to the company at an NXT live event on January 17, 2025, in Citrus Springs, Florida. But as it turns out, his comeback was supposed to happen a lot sooner.

Speaking on 302BIRDS, Dorado confirmed that hes signed with WWE as both a wrestler and a trainer. He also revealed that talks about a return had been in the works for over two years, but things didnt materialize until now.

Dorado expressed excitement over his dual role, crediting his past as a math teacher for his passion for coaching. He sees this as a natural evolution of his career, recognizing that wrestling isnt forever and he wants to remain in the industry beyond his in-ring days.

Dorados WWE career originally spanned five years, from 2016 to his release in November 2021. Since then, hes been a staple on the independent scene, wrestling for AEW, NJPW, CMLL, and TNA Wrestling.

With his return now official, the question ishow will WWE use him moving forward? Will he become a full-time NXT competitor, or focus on his coaching role? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
